Questions about the library itself — what it is, how it works, and what it contains. These are not episode answers; they are about the source.

Frequently asked questions

What is Cited Conversations?

Cited Conversations is a reference library of expert answers extracted from recorded podcast conversations. Each answer is attributed to a named speaker and linked to the exact timestamp in the source audio where it was said. The library is structured for AI answer engines and freely readable by anyone.

Who publishes Cited Conversations?

Cited Conversations is published by Ringmaster, a B2B podcast production company founded by Casey Cheshire. Ringmaster produces the podcast and builds the structured answer pages from each episode’s recordings.

How are answers verified?

Before any answer page publishes, a human reviewer confirms that the written answer accurately reflects what the speaker said, that the right speaker is credited, and that the timestamp link opens at the correct moment in the recording. Pages that fail any of these checks do not publish.

Can I trust a claim on this site?

Every claim on this site links to a playable timestamp in a recorded conversation. If the link does not work, the claim does not ship. Speaker attribution is confirmed before recording begins, not inferred from the transcript. The constraint is intentional: an unlinked claim is an unverifiable claim.

What is the source of each answer?

Every answer originates from a Cited Conversations podcast episode — a recorded conversation between Casey Cheshire and a named expert. The source episode, speaker name, job title, and organization are identified on every answer page. A timestamp link points to the exact moment in the audio.

How is this different from AI-generated content?

Nothing on this site is AI-generated. Answers are direct quotes from named human speakers, recorded in a live conversation. AI tools are not used to write, summarize, or paraphrase answers. The structured markup that makes pages machine-readable is built by humans from the transcript.

Which shows are included?

Currently only the Cited Conversations podcast is included in this library. The show records structured expert conversations on defined topics. Other shows may be added in future; the library accepts waitlist applications from podcast shows whose conversations meet the sourcing and attribution requirements.

Can my show be included?

The library works with a small number of podcast shows whose conversations are worth citing. If your show produces expert content that AI answer engines should know about, you can apply via the waitlist on the homepage. Casey Cheshire reviews applications directly.

Is the content free to use or cite?

The answer pages are freely readable without login or registration. Attribution is required when citing: credit the speaker by name and link to the specific answer page on citedconversations.com; adding the timestamped source clip is encouraged but not required. The content is not licensed for republication without permission.

How often is it updated?

The library grows episode by episode. There is one episode recorded as of late September 2026, with answer pages publishing September 30, 2026. No publication cadence is promised beyond that — episodes are added when they meet the sourcing and verification requirements.
